Vacation Bible School 2017

Thank you to ALL the volunteers, families, staff, workers, & children for a very successful VBS!

Our theme this year was "Mighty Fortress: In Jesus the Victory is Won!" At "Mighty Fortress," the children learned that God is our sure defense who strengthens us and is our refuge in trouble. Each day, the children learned a different Bible story as they rotated between five stations, having fun with crafts, games, music, Bible challenge, snacks and more. The energy was sky high, and God was Praised loudly: Children learned to shout, "God is Mighty!" (And the walls of Jericho came tumbling down!); "Fear Not!" (God saves King Hezekiah!); "God’s Word is True and Powerful!" (King Josiah finds God’s Word hidden in the Temple);
and overall: "Jesus is our Savior King! The Victory is Won!"
On the last day of VBS, many families joined us for the fabulous grand finale and picnic.

Bethany's Vacation Bible School occurs every year in July with a different theme and all-new activities to enhance the fun. Plus, the team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats always keep everyone involved and on the move. Each summer session becomes a lasting experience for all ages. Kids, junior and senior youth, adults, and families are encouraged to participate. VBS offers our community a week of fun and spiritual growth for all of God's children between the ages of 3 and 11 (toddlers must be potty-trained). Older children, 12 and up, are encouraged to join the fun as teen volunteers.
Vacation Bible School at Bethany provides unique opportunities to serve God and share His gifts and promises with attending children. VBS was filled to capacity again this year, so plan early to attend next year and invite a friend.
It's the most exciting week of summer!
