Shepherds serve the Lord by helping their assigned Bethany families grow in faith and service. A Shepherd's duties include: praying for one's assigned families; participating in a rotation in which at least one Shepherd is available every Sunday after worship; maintaining a quarterly communication connection to worship or annual events; communicating any needs or prayer concerns to the appropriate people, including the pastors; and receiving communication from the pastors about their assigned families.
Mildred Ballenger, our Lead Shepherd, guides the Bethany Shepherds as they foster God's caring and love among our families and friends, and promote our mission to "Invite, Celebrate, Grow, and Serve."
