First Thoughts: There are many reasons to be watchful and alert, these days. The phrase "situational awareness" helps us be on the lookout for dangers around us. Peter warns us about the evil that surrounds Christians in particular, but not so that we become fearful. Instead, Peter encourages us to stand firm and to look ahead with hope because Christ is risen!
