Second Farming Sermon

”I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.”

Work in the church is a lot like farming. The farmer must do certain things like planting and watering. Ultimately, it is God who causes the growth of the crops. It is the same in the church. Paul spells out to the Corinthians some of the things that they are responsible for, but urges them to go about that work with love and humility as all their gifts and abilities as well as any fruit from their labors come from God.
