Thy Will Be Done” + John 14:12

Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

God reveals His will in the Word and in the Word incarnate, Jesus Christ. It sounds simple, but then we get to these last instructions Jesus gave to His disciples before His suffering and resurrection. If Jesus raised the dead, what are the “greater works” His followers will do? Does that include you and me? What “greater works” can the church accomplish with the power of the Holy Spirit?
