We are invited to see God's protection of His "little ones" throughout these chapters of Mark. As we conclude Mark 9, we learn some hard teachings Jesus gave about stumbling blocks, but we are encouraged as we remember that "we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin." Remembering Jesus, we can invite others to draw near to His grace and mercy.
