Philippians Chapter Four

In Philippians chapter four, Paul is full of joy despite the many dangers that surround him. Where does that joy come from? From resting safely in the arms of Christ who guards our hearts and minds. Jesus stands guard working through His Word, His Sacraments, His light in a world of darkness. Jesus is guarding us and in Christ, we may truly have peace that surpasses all understanding.
