Each day, elementary-age children will learn a different Bible story on thier level as they rotated between stations having fun at the Glacier Games, Sing and Play, Wild Bible Adventures, Tundra Treats, Sticky Scriptures, and Imagination Station. Preschool-age children will join in the Opening and Closing programs, but will have thier very own Juneau's Puppy Playhouse for age-approprate lessons and activities.
Bible stories covered next year include:
Day 1-“John Baptizes Jesus”
Day 2-“Jesus teaches about God's love for us”
Day 3-“A Roman officer trusts Jesus”
Day 4-“Jesus Dies and Comes back to Life,”
Day 5-“Jesus gives the Great Commission and the Holy Spirit"
On the last day of VBS, families are encouraged to joined us for the fabulous grand finale with a special visit from the Kona Ice Truck.
Bethany's Vacation Bible School occurs one week every summer with a different theme and all-new activities to enhance the fun. Plus, the team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats always keep everyone involved and on the move. Each summer session becomes a lasting experience for all ages. Kids, junior and senior youth, adults, and families are encouraged to participate. VBS offers our community a week of fun and spiritual growth for all of God's children between the ages of 3 and 11 (toddlers must be potty-trained). Older children, 12 and up, are encouraged to join the fun as teen volunteers.
Vacation Bible School at Bethany provides unique opportunities to serve God and share His gifts and promises with attending children. VBS quickly fills to capacity, so plan early to attend and don't forget to INVITE a friend.
It's the most exciting week of summer!
