Ah, to be described with the two adjectives that are attached to the person in today's text. Those adjectives are "rich" and "young." This person would seem to have the things needed to enjoy life to the fullest. But there is something lacking and it makes this person sad when he walks away from the Teacher. What was it that Jesus was trying to teach? We are invited to draw near to the Master's wisdom to perhaps find the happiness that eluded this rich, young person.
