First Thoughts: In his book, "The Secret of Happiness", Billy Graham said he set out to actually write a book about the whole "Sermon on The Mount" and call it "The Greatest Sermon Ever Preached". In the preface to the book he actually wrote, he explains he never got past the Beatitudes. He realized that God was giving a formula for happiness and contentment that applied to everyone.
In the sermon, I plan to look at these eight "Blessed Attitudes" (Billy Graham writes that they are sometimes called the "Beautiful Attitudes" - a phrase he is often credited for coining) to not only inspire us to adopt them in our lives, but to show how full of God's grace they truly are.
