Jeremiah's Call

Jeremiah was given the burden of preaching God's Word at a time when hearts were hard and destruction imminent. God' promises that all who try to stop the prophet's work will face "a fortified city, an iron pillar, and bronze walls".  

Read Jeremiah chapter one and ponder the call of the prophet and our vocations in the world, today.
