Sermon text: Luke 15 (the "lost" chapter of Luke)
In this one chapter of Luke, Jesus tells three parables about lost things - a sheep, a coin, a son. And Jesus reminds the religious leaders that it is God's intention to seek and save the lost. "Which of you" who has a lost sheep, a lost coin or even a lost son, will not take notice, pray and give your energy to the search? Jesus says those words to us as well as the Pharisees of his day who were offended at his eating with "tax collectors and sinners."
This Sunday, we'll imagine what the world would be like if more people knew our Lord and Savior and also picture ourselves walking with "the lost" in this world so that they may know Jesus and the way to His heavenly home.
The worship video below begins with the sermon.
