Walking with Amos (part two)

Text: Amos 6:1-7, and also 5:21-24, 2:9-11, 9:9-15

Amos was burdened with a message that brought him from his farm to the south to Bethel in the north. To those that lived lives of comfort while people suffered, Amos proclaimed that those who were not "grieved for the ruin of Jacob" would be "the first to go into exile." 

Today, we'll walk with Amos to Bethel to hear what God has to say about true worship. It is not meant to be action on just holy days but every day. Worship is what connects us to the God of our salvation and to the hope found in God's everlasting love.
