Roads to Rome: Antioch

The cosmopolitan city of Antioch is next stop along the Roman Roads. It is here that refugees from persecution in Jerusalem begin to share the Good News about Jesus boldly and the church begins to grow in unexpected ways. Enter Barnabas the encourager and Saul the former persecutor turned preacher to help nurture that growth which ends up with blessings returned to Jerusalem. Antioch later becomes the launching point for even greater journeys ahead! We learn a lot in Antioch which can encourage those of us who are on God's mission, today.
