SERMON NOTES

The land that was promised to the descendants of Abraham was in sight. But an act of rebellion threw up a barrier and nearly 40 years would have to go by before they saw that land, again. The rebellious generation dies off in the desert, and before Moses joins the Lord, he teaches the new generation what has gone before and the way to be faithful to God in the land they will be given. Moses lays before them “blessings and curses, life and death.” Will the children of Israel remember how they came through the wilderness of sin and death before coming to the Promised Land?
