It seems no accident that immediately after Jesus is confronted with a hard question about divorce, He makes a scene when the disciples turn away children from their master. The Gospels record Jesus being "indignant." Our Lord confronts both situations with the clear Word of God to show that marriage and children are a part of God's good creation for the good of us all. The design of creation echoes God’s love, which we also see in His ultimate plan to claim us for His family.
